I was on my boat, “hunting” other boats, yachts and water skiers with my Zuiko 50-200mm lens. This boy knew how to ski and did it well. Photographed on the river Sava.

I probably used 70-80 dandelions to get the image I wanted: to capture a perfect movement of flying seeds. In a situation like this you have to experiment a lot.

This image won the 2nd place in DPR Challenges.

Actually, I’ve done this in daylight with two strobes. High shutter speed suppressed the ambient light, one strobe was placed behind the flower for a backlight and another one served as a “kicker” on the right.

Careful mixing of colour and black & white photography can produce quite dramatic effects.

This one was taken in January 2009. during our winter sailing. The river was calm and tranquil. I especially liked the clouds that formed a heart shape.

In the winter of 2009. Danube was frozen, ships couldn’t sail, but the birds enjoyed it.

In the winter of 2007 my wife and I traveled to Bansko, Bulgaria. We were hiking and climbing beautiful Pirin mountains. We climbed the highest peak there, Vihren. This one was taken in our descending from the top.

Just before we arrived at the beautiful Navagio beach on Zakynthos, Greece I took a picture of the life belts. The colours were stunning!
